A Day of Thanks

     Thanksgiving used to be a holiday of giving thanks for the harvest that was bestowed on the farmer and their families. Today it is more of a time to spend with family and friends. Normally on this day I cook and prepare a feast, however this year we decided to not cook. My brother was going to a friends in Colorado for the holiday. In the effect of my brother not here our cousin due to him having epilepsy he doesn't drive so he didn't come. Pasha's brother was not with us as well. Needless to say that this year it was just the three of us. So instead of killing time at home, I informed our friends Andy and Anya that I am inviting my little family of three over to their home for the holiday feast. It was a very enjoyable time.

Last Whorah

Since we now live 8 miles from the beach we don't go that often, so we went with grandma and grandpa. Now Nastya loves the sand she loves water and both of those are her favourite things to see. The water was freezing but the day was not so bad temperature wise so we went.

 When she gets cold in the water she does this and just rolls around in the sand.

Nastya has a lot of family from both Pasha and I's side. When grandma and grandpa come to visit they love on her and we kind of pawn her off to them because they will take care of her if we ask. Pasha's parents are really good people they help us in so many ways they have no clue. They have taken me as a daughter as if they were the ones who birthed me. On the Saturday of last week we went to the Harbour Pier to fish and have a BBQ with them. Nastya had fun!

Celebration!

Nastya is officially 3 and it is so weird but I love this stage in her. She is independent but also needy at times. She is so charming, smart and a little snake at times. She knows how to love on us and be her. She is the best daughter we could have asked for.

My little Hazaika(housewife), Mama and Papa are so proud to call you our daughter. You bring us such joy, you don't know how much we love you. On the days where I don't want to get out of bed I see your smile and all I want to do is kiss and hug you. You are going to go far in life and to the ends of the earth. You are so smart and beautiful I don't know what Papa will do when you bring a guy home. Our love for you grows everyday in a way that is indescribable. The air that we breath we breath because of you and for you. We will do anything for you to see that life can be great when you work hard. You are so much like Papa in your demeanour and your charisma but your attitude is all Mama. We love you very much and we hope that we can raise you to the best of our ability and be able to enjoy you at this age to the fullest. Happy 3rd Birthday Baby!

Pumpkin Patch

Nastya loves to go places and this past month we went to a pumpkin patch and she had a blast they had a petting zoo and a corn maze that was on the small side but it was for the children not us adults. She had a blast. We have a neighbour here in the complex and he is the same age as Nastya but 2 months younger we car pooled with them.

And Baby Makes 3

I am happy to announce that Aurelie has had her baby girl. She is so beautiful. Here are the states. She was born on 29 October 2012 @ 3:45 am (France time) She weighed in at 3,45 kilos (7 lbs 6 Oz) and 49 cm (19.29 in). She was in labour for about 12 hours and did really great. David is a doting father and I am so happy for them. He helps with the cooking, the washing and the cleaning of the flat which is a great help./ She is breast feeding and so far it is al swell with them. We talked this morning Via Skype and it felt good to hear her voice and see this little one. She looks a lot like David. So now their family of 2 has grown to 4 in a matter of weeks. They also have a cat that is super cute he name is Shooki.
